FC Girondins de Bordeaux midfielder Pierre Ducasse and goalkeeper Ulriche Ramé will miss Wednesday's UEFA Champions League trip to CFR 1907 Cluj.
Ducasse out
The 21-year-old Ducasse suffered a left ankle injury and was replaced at half-time by Abdou Traoré during Bordeaux's 1-0 loss at AS Nancy-Lorraine on Saturday evening. Although the full extent of the injury is not clear, coach Laurent Blanc has left him out of the squad to go to Romania. Fernando Menegazzo now has a good chance of featuring.
Valverde stands by
Ramé, 36, suffered a relapse of a recent groin injury while taking a goal kick in Nancy. Matthieu Valverde could take over for the game at CFR where Bordeaux are seeking a win to move off the bottom of Group A, having beaten the Romanian champions 1-0 at home a fortnight ago.
