Husev delight at Dynamo move

FC Dynamo Kyiv have signed Ukrainian Under-21 international Oleh Husev from FC Arsenal Kyiv.

'Dream come true'
The 20-year-old striker has joined the champions for an undisclosed fee after an impressive first season in the top flight with Arsenal. "A year ago, I couldn't have dreamt about being in the U21 squad or playing for Dynamo," Husev said. "Now my dream has come true. I have to prove to the coaches that they have not made a mistake, and I will do my best."

'A key player'
Husev made 21 appearances for Arsenal last term, and in seven U21 matches he has scored two goals - leaving a positive impression on coach Pavlo Yakovenko. "Oleh is a very fast, highly-skilled player," the U21 boss said. "I think he has everything needed to become a key player for Ukraine in the future."

Champions League entrance
Dynamo launch their title defence on 12 July against FC Volyn Lutsk and will enter the 2003/04 UEFA Champions League in the third qualifying round.
