Armenian title-holders FC Pyunik moved through to the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round as they edged out KR Reykjavík in the Icelandic capital.
Away goal
Trailing 1-0 from the first leg, KR were keen to reverse that scoreline in their home leg. However, they were unable to force a breakthrough in the first half, and it was a similar story after the break. Pyunik then virtually assured their passage when Agvan Mkrtchyan scored an away goal after 72 minutes.
Penalty equaliser
Bjarki Gunnlaugsson equalised on the night from the penalty spot eight minutes from the end, but KR remained two goals short of the three they needed to gain overall victory when the final whistle went. Pyunik will now meet Bulgaria's PFC CSKA Sofia, with the first leg in Yerevan next Wednesday.
