The pressure finally tells. That goal was made by the substitutes. After Juninho jinked the ball into Malouda at the near post, Malouda chipped it up and across the face of goal where there were three men waiting. The ball was too high for them but was perfectly timed for the oncoming and unmarked Péguy Luyindula. Instead of volleying the ball he dived in to head it hard downwards. The ball bounced awkwardly for Kahn and he was unable to get a hand to it. A well deserved goal.
