Chelsea are trying to keep the ball for the last 12 minutes fo the game, and with that in mind, he brings on one of his holding midfield players. The player whose goal started off the excitement, Gudjohnsen, trudges off to a standing ovation.

Terry (Chelsea) scores!
The captain scores from a set-piece, as he has been threatening to do all night. Duff's corner is superbly weighted, and Terry steps back to head the ball home from ten metres out to give Chelsea a two-goal advantage and control of the tie.

Xavi Hernández (Barcelona) is shown a yellow card.
The midfield player is cautioned for diving.

Johnson (in) - Ferreira (out) (Chelsea)
The Portuguese defender is replaced, perhaps because he is already on a yellow card. Johnson comes on for his 50th Chelsea appearance, wth the task of stopping Ronaldinho get his hat-trick.

Sylvinho (in) - Van Bronckhorst (out) (Barcelona)
Barcelona make a change, replacing Van Bronckhorst with Sylvinho. The Brazilian, who has played at this stadium with Arsenal FC, has never been on the losing side to Chelsea.

Ronaldinho (Barcelona) scores!
A stunning goal from Ronaldinho from outside the area puts the visitors in pole position. He takes a ball from from Deco, who like everyone else watches Iniesta run into the area. Ronaldinho stands inside the 'D' as a defender stands off him, waiting for him to pass, but he twists his feet, swivels his hips and toe-pokes the ball into the corner of the net. Cech does not move and Chelsea, 3-0 up after 20 minutes, are shell-shocked.

The Dutchman is penalised for a lunge on Cole, who has taken him on and beaten him many times already tonight.

Ronaldinho (Barcelona) scores from the penalty spot.
Cech dives the right way, to his right, but cannot keep out the Brazilian's effort. It is very close but Barcelona are back in the tie and need one more goal to go through.

Duff (Chelsea) scores!
The Chelsea fans are delirious as two becomes three following another moment of genius from Cole. Kezman holds the ball up well to knock it back to Cole, whose first-time pass slices apart Barcelona's defence and allows Duff to run through on goal. Duff only needs one touch to draw Valdés before side-footing the ball under his legs and into the net from just outside the area.

Lampard (Chelsea) scores!
Chelsea double their lead as Cole, so impressive already, jinks inside Van Bronckhorst and hits a left-footed shot that deflects of Oleguer. The ricochet catches Valdés off-guard and he can only touch the ball into the path of Lampard, who has an easy task to smash the ball home.

Gudjohnsen (Chelsea) scores!
The perfect start for the hosts as the two forwards who did not start the first leg create the opener. Lampard robs Xavi in his own half and plays Kezman into space down the right. The in-form forward puts in a superb cross from the touchline which reaches Gudjohnsen at the far post. The Icelandic international cuts inside his marker and pokes the ball with his left foot over Víctor Valdés.
