Two first-half goals were the key to taking Brøndby IF past FC Dinamo Tbilisi and into the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round.
First-half goals
Michael Laudrup's side won 2-0 in Georgia last week, and the aggregate score was 3-0 nine minutes in tonight as Kasper Lorentzen Lorentzen struck his first. An own goal from Kakhaber Aladashvili three minutes before half-time left Brøndby firmly in control.
Ajax meeting
Sandro Iashvili pulled one back in the 65th minute but Jonas Kamper had the final say not long before the end. Brøndby could have a tougher task in the next stage, as they play AFC Ajax, a team Laudrup knows well after playing there at the end of his illustrious career. The tie starts with the home leg next week.
