FC Internazionale Milano coach José Mourinho said Anorthosis Famagusta FC "deserve to qualify" after his side needed a late Julio Cruz equaliser to claim a 3-3 draw in Cyprus, a just result according to home coach Temuri Ketsbaia. His side at least remain second in Group B, and Ketsbaia believes that they are now vying with Werder Bremen and Panathinaikos FC to finish runners up to Inter.

We trailed twice, but not only did we equalise but then we also took the lead. It would have been unfair if we had won. Inter had chances, we had chances and to be honest I'm more disappointed by the result of the other game. I believe Inter will be in the next round; it's close between the rest of us though. We need to win our next game at home [against Bremen]. If we win one of the two games we will finish third, minimum. Our results have not happened by chance. We have played four games and are second. Maybe we are best placed to take second.
We made mistakes, they made mistakes. Despite the problems before the game because of absent players, those that came in helped us get a positive result. Paulo Costa had to be substituted because of injury and it made things more difficult, but we showed that the team has solutions. Inter took risks and succeeded. They have a lot of options and quality players. We scored a lucky goal but Inter also scored a goal we could have prevented.
José Mourinho, Inter coach
Anorthosis are now an important team in the Champions League. They had a fantastic game and could finish first or fourth. Matchday 5 is decisive. We face Panathinaikos, if we win we will seal first. If Werder lose here [in Nicosia], Anorthosis can qualify. I think they are very difficult to play when they play very defensively. Today that wasn't the case, we had space to play and could have scored four, five or six goals.
We gave them more space than we should have; it was easy and we made things difficult for ourselves. Anorthosis really deserve to qualify. They are doing amazingly well. We aimed to win, had a good start, but in football you can't play with fire; fortunately for us the game ended well. We weren't geed up, there was no concentration and we were too relaxed.
