The UEFA Champions League third qualifying round beckons for FK Aktobe after a 4-0 win at ten-man FH Hafnarfjördur left them looking overwhelming favourites to progress.

Tleshev opener
Despite producing the majority of the first-half chances in Iceland, Kazakh titleholders Aktobe were unable to make their superiority count until three minutes after the restart, when Murat Tleshev got the ball rolling. Six minutes after that, Viktor Örn Gudmundsson was sent from the field of play following a second yellow card and his team-mates struggled to cope with fewer numbers, conceding three more times to leave themselves facing an almost insurmountable task if they are to turn the situation around in Aktobe next Wednesday.

Golovskoy double
Tleshev's breakthrough strike was far from undeserved for a team holding the upper hand, but it was only after Gudmundsson's dismissal that the visitors were able to make the game safe. Konstantin Golovskoy struck almost immediately afterwards and the veteran Russian midfielder rounded off the scoring too, doubling his tally with five minutes to go, a quarter of an hour after Marat Khayrullin had put Vladimir Mukhanov's side 3-0 up.
