Stanojević says inexperience cost Partizan

Aleksandar Stanojević said his FK Partizan side must learn from their UEFA Champions League experience after being knocked out by an SC Braga team left eyeing a place in the last 16.

Aleksandar Stanojević believes inexperience told as his FK Partizan side were knocked out of European competition following a fourth straight loss in Group H, 1-0 at home to an SC Braga team for whom "all qualifying scenarios are possible".

We're leaving the European stage and I'm obviously disappointed, but we didn't have the experience this time

It would have been better if Arsenal had won tonight but we still have games to play. We're aware of the difficulties we will face but we'll try to qualify.

I have to say that Braga deserved the three points. During the first half we were not at a level that I expect which meant they could dictate the game in our half. We improved after the break, enough to score a goal, but at this level in the Champions League you can't miss chances and that's what we did. We tried to make the most of our most attacking weapons and find space on the wings, without any real success.

We're leaving the European stage and I'm obviously disappointed, but we didn't have the experience this time. We hadn't been in the Champions League for seven years and that meant. Now we must learn from this, and next time give our suppporters more to enjoy.

Domingos Paciência, Braga coach
We were solid and played a great match here. All qualifying scenarios are possible now and we're still in the Champions League. The second half was very tough for us because Partizan came at us, but we should have scored more goals in the first.

Now there are two teams [Arsenal and Shakhtar] with nine points and us on six. It would have been better if Arsenal had won tonight but we still have games to play. We're aware of the difficulties we will face but we'll try to qualify. We didn't start the competition well but we're more confident now.
