A gifted all-purpose midfielder who starred for Ukraine on home soil in their 2009 UEFA European Under-19 Championship triumph, Denys Garmash is the sole member of that team to win a place in his country's UEFA EURO 2012 squad. The FC Dynamo Kyiv starlet made his senior international debut in a 3-0 win against Bulgaria in October 2011.
• Helped Ukraine become the European U19 Championship's first victorious hosts with two goals in the semi-final against Serbia and the opening goal of the final versus England.
• Promoted into Dynamo's senior squad for the 2009/10 season and made his Ukrainian Premier League debut in a 3-1 home victory against FC Metalurh Donetsk.
• Scored his first top-flight goal in a 2-1 defeat of FC Metalist Kharkiv on 23 July 2010 and his first in Europe the following month in a UEFA Champions League qualifier away to KAA Gent.
• Helped Ukraine qualify for the 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Championship finals in Denmark, in which he was sent off during the second group game against Spain.
