Dudelange hit seven after second-half surge

F91 Dudelange 7-0 SP Tre Penne
Five second-half goals ensured Didier Philippe's side secured an emphatic home win to all but book a place in the second qualifying round.

F91 Dudelange have one foot in the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round after five second-half strikes helped them to a 7-0 win at home to SP Tre Penne.

Bryan Melisse opened the scoring, firing in off the left post from outside the box on 25 minutes for the first goal of the 2012/13 UEFA Champions League season. "I noticed that the defenders were late and I had room to shoot, so I went for it and I am very happy – also because it was an important goal for my team," Melisse later told UEFA.com.

"It was important as it paved the way for the second goal, which almost ended the game." Indeed, Dudelange's second came just four minutes later, as Sofian Benzouien hit his first of the night.

That meant score was 2-0 at half-time, but Tre Penne's hopes were extinguished by three goals in eight minutes after the restart, Jean-Sébastien Legros (47), Aurélien Joachim (51) and Benzouien (53) doing the damage. The situation worsened for the visitors when Pasquale D'Orsi put the ball past his own keeper on 78 minutes, before Joachim completed his own double in added time to round off the scoring.
