FC Nordsjælland were denied a first UEFA Champions League group stage victory as Mirko Vučinić came off the bench to earn Juventus a point.
Mikkel Beckmann had put the hosts in front five minutes after half-time – their first goal in the competition – and the two-time European champions struggled thereafter to find a way past goalkeeper Jesper Hansen. Vučinić, though, ensured the Serie A leaders claimed a third successive Group E draw when he applied a sweet finish nine minutes from the end.
I had quite a bit to do tonight. I am proud that we managed to show who we really are. We were put under a lot of pressure in the second half, but we are really proud of what we did.

Jesper Hansen, Nordsjælland goalkeeper
When you have so many chances it is always disappointing not to win. We deserved to win but when you do not manage to score with so many chances you have to accept the result.

Angelo Alessio, Juventus assistant coach

Juventus come from behind to draw for the third time running in this year's group stage. Mirko Vučinić's goal rescued the point, but the hosts were excellent in defence, almost clinging on to the lead earned for them by Mikkel Beckmann's outstanding free-kick.
