Manchester United FC added another page to their long history of comebacks as they recovered from two goals down to beat SC Braga and take a big step towards the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League.
Braga had real hope of becoming the first Portuguese visitors to triumph at Old Trafford when Alan struck twice in the opening quarter. However, goals from Javier Hernández and Jonny Evans restored parity before the Mexican's second of the night, 15 minutes from time, secured United's third victory in Group H.
It has been the story of our season leaking goals and fighting back for the rest of the game. Some of the football was terrific but losing goals is a concern.

Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United manager
We wanted three points but we couldn't get them. We still believe we can win in any stadium and the last 16 is still possible.

José Peseiro, Braga coach

A brilliant Javier Hernández double and one from Jonny Evans turned the game on its head with two headers to bring Man United back from the brink at 2-0 down following Alan’s two goals in the first 20 minutes.
