Antonio Conte, Juventus coach
We did well tonight. These kind of games are what everybody wishes for, because we were leading 3-0 from the first leg, but most of us are inexperienced at this level so it was not easy to understand how best to approach the match. In the first half we had some problems but before the break we became more solid. We are playing well, there are many positives.
This team is hungry and we always have to be hungry because we've just started eating. We sat at the table last year with the Scudetto, but we've just started eating. Now we will wait for the draw to see who we get in the next round. We'll see, now we have to focus on the league because we are still fighting in Serie A and it is not easy to win in Italy.
These games require a lot of energy and we will need all our players ready, including those who have played less. We must never forget that the Champions League is a tough competition. I want to offer my compliments to the Celtic fans, because they kept singing even when we were winning 2-0. They should be an example.
My players always fight till the end of games. That's what I want from them. A coach has to give respect if he wants to be respected and that's what I think I am doing with Juventus's players. If you want somebody to walk down a road you must be the first to walk that way.
Neil Lennon, Celtic manager
Quality counts. Our finishing let us down – our build-up play was very good. In the final third, for all our good play, execution is the key and we missed too many chances. Class tells in the end and that's what happened over the two games.
I hope the players have learned a lot and move on with their careers. They've done the club proud.
I'm a very proud manager tonight to be in this magnificent arena and I hope these young guys blossom from this experience. The last 16 is cut-throat and Juventus were clinical over the two games.
[Celtic] is a fantastic club with fans worldwide. The support is amazing as you've seen over the course of the season. It's a privilege to manage this club and it's been a brilliant experience for me. We're going well in the championship, we're in the [Scottish Cup] semi-finals and this has been a huge bonus.
If we never get the chance to do this again – you never know where football takes you, circumstances might be different next season, and it took us four or five years to get back into the [group stage] – there have been some great moments. Winning in Moscow was fantastic, the two games against Barcelona were titanic. It's been amazing.
