The top two teams in Group H, FC Porto and FC Shakhtar Donetsk, come together on matchday six with their qualification assured. Furthermore, the Portuguese side have guaranteed first place having collected 13 points from their first five matches; Shakhtar, on eight, are sure to finish second.

Porto: Helton, Maicon, Álvaro Pereira, Moutinho, Kléber (Djalma 69), Hulk (Varela 78), Fucile, James, Fernando (Belluschi 61), Otamendi, Defour.

• Porto went all the way to the final, losing 2-1 to Juventus in Basel. It was the first time Shakhtar had reached a major European quarter-final – an achievement they did not match until their triumphant 2008/09 UEFA Cup run.
