Vitaliy Buyalskiy had a UEFA Champions League debut to remember as he hit a last-minute equaliser to earn Dynamo Kyiv a Group E point.
Porto looked to have grabbed the win nine minutes from time when Vincent Aboubakar's second of the night completed their recovery from Oleh Gusev's 20th-minute opener. Buyalskiy had other ideas, though, running onto Serhiy Rybalka's mis-hit drive into the box and firing past Iker Casillas.
Dynamo had also made the brighter start and they were good value for their initial lead. The only surprise was that it came on the counterattack. Garmash's low, early delivery evaded Miguel Veloso but not Gusev, running into space at Casillas's far post 1-0.
Within three minutes, though, Porto were level. Miguel Layún was the creator, cushioning a long ball, skipping past a rash challenge and whipping in a right-footed cross that Aboubakar met with a firm header. Julen Lopetegui, watching from the stands, was unmoved.
The Porto coach certainly had concerns, not least an early fumble from Casillas that almost brought the opener. The ex-Real Madrid man was far more assured just before half-time, meeting Garmash's shot with firm hands.
The game slipped into a lull after the restart but went up the gears in the final 15 minutes. Olexandr Rybka did well to tip Jesús Corona's effort over but from the resulting corner he flapped and the in-form Aboubakar meted out emphatic punishment, rifling in.
That looked to have grabbed the headlines but Buyalskiy had other ideas.

For many of my players it was their debut in the UEFA Champions League and we looked worthy [of our place]. It's to their credit that such a strong team like Porto only had a few chances throughout the game. We were very compact and disciplined in defence. I'd say it's a fair result. We found out this morning that Andriy Yarmolenko is suffering from food poisoning. We tried our hardest but couldn't field him tonight.

After a very even first half we were the better team in the second 45 minutes. After going 2-1 up we thought we had the victory in the bag, but then came that goal near the end. Still, this is a short competition and it is important not to lose, even if we deserved to win. Now we will start to think about [Sunday's] match against Benfica. We are aiming to do well both in the Liga and in the Champions League.
