Mauricio Pochettino, Tottenham coach
It will be a historic moment for us. We need to go to Wembley to play, act naturally and try to win games – and not try to find excuses. We need to play and try to beat Monaco. That is the most important thing. It will be an exciting moment to play with Tottenham in the UEFA Champions League. It will be fantastic – it's difficult to describe the feeling. I think it will be exciting for everyone. You have more space to play [on a bigger pitch]. It's difficult for the opponent to press you when you have more space.

Leonardo Jardim, Monaco coach
It should be a fairly close game. In comparison to last season, we are less fragile than in December [when Tottenham beat Monaco 4-1 at White Hart Lane] and we've strengthened. Spurs are a very competitive team, but we've got our plans that will hopefully help us.

We're going out to try and win the game. The team are in a good place at the moment and our form is good in Ligue 1. Hopefully we'll put in a good performance that will allow us to get on the right path to qualification.

Tottenham approach this one in fine fettle after their resounding victory on Saturday. Pochettino's troops will also be buoyed by the fact they overcame Monaco last December in the UEFA Europa League, but Wembley is the major question mark: how quickly Spurs adapt to playing 'home' games away from White Hart Lane could prove key to their possible progression from a tight-looking Group E.
