Unfulfilled task
The 51-year-old was expected to leave Dinamo at the end of the season, after agreeing in May to stay on and try and win the domestic title. The task was left unfulfilled as the Minsk team finished third.
Difficult finish
"We didn't have enough energy to finish the campaign," said Baidachny about his club side's failure. "One of the main reasons was having to change our squad around. We had to patch it up as we went along."
Search for new coach
Baidachny was the tenth manager in six years at a club chasing their first title since 1997. "Now I am searching for a new coach," said Dinamo president Yuriy Chizh. "It is likely we will look for a foreign specialist."
