Hungary Under-21 defender Ádám Pintér has received his first senior call-up for the UEFA EURO 2012 Group E qualifiers against San Marino and Finland, with coach Sándor Egervári eager to give the 22-year-old a chance in the absence of suspended team-mates.

The tall centre-back, who left MTK Budapest for Real Zaragoza in the summer, will help Hungary make up for the absences of Pál Lázár and Zoltán Lipták against the section minnows on 8 October. "Pintér was an indispensable player for the U21s and I can see why Zaragoza signed him," said Egervári. "I can use him as a central defender or as a holding midfielder as Lázár and Lipták will be suspended against San Marino."

Cardiff City FC's Gábor Gyepes and Győri ETO FC's Tamás Koltai also make the cut for the first time since the new coach took charge. "Koltai has scored some goals for Győr and is in good form while Gyepes starts regularly for his team," said Egervári, whose side lost their first qualifier 2-0 in Sweden before beating Moldova 2-1 at home.
