Malta coach John Buttigieg has recalled Central Coast Mariners FC midfielder John Hutchinson to his squad to face Croatia in UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying Group F on 17 November.

Midfielder Hutchinson won the last of his four caps in October 2009. Buttigieg is, however, without defender André Agius and striker Andrew Cohen through suspension for the match in Zagreb. He told UEFA.com: "I would have loved to see my team gain a point or more from the first three outings but this is football. We were so near and yet so far to doing so in our last qualifying match against Georgia."
