Bosnia-Herzegovina coach Blaz Sliskovic has named his three assistants to complete one of the youngest managerial teams in Europe.
All former internationals
All three assistants are former players for both Bosnia-Herzegovina and Yugoslavia. Admir Smajic, Bosnia's Under-21 coach, was appointed first assistant coach. The 40-year-old has been coaching at Swiss side BSC Young Boys, where he also ended his playing career.
Goalkeeping appointment
Fahrudin Omerovic, 41, was named goalkeeping coach after a playing career that included spells at FK Partizan and Turkish side Istanbulspor. Finally Sliskovic's coaching staff was completed by Vlatko Glavas, 40, who played for Croatian side NK Osijek before moving to Wuppertaler SV.
Tough draw
Sliskovic, who took over as coach in January, was previously the assistant of former coach Miso Smajlovic, who resigned at the end of last year. His side have been drawn in EURO 2004™ qualifying Group 2 with Romania, Denmark, Norway and Luxembourg.
