Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has named a 21-man squad for the forthcoming friendlies against Serbia and South Korea in Switzerland, including several new faces.

With Chelsea FC competing in the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday and FC Barcelona meeting Athletic Club in the Copa del Rey final on 25 May, La Roja will be without several regular faces. Included for the pre-UEFA EURO 2012 games against Serbia in St Gallen on 26 May and South Korea in Berne four days later are UEFA Europa League winners Juanfran, Álvaro Domínguez and Adrián López, Manchester United FC keeper David de Gea, Beñat Etxebarria of Real Betis Balompié and SL Benfica's Javi García.

Del Bosque said: "We must adapt to this situation [of being without several key players] and get the most out of the squad we have in order to arrive at the finals in the best possible condition. We have selected players this time around who have put in a good season and who could be of value to us in the future."

The definitive 23-man squad will be revealed on 27 May, and Spain's last warm-up will be against China in Seville on 2 June. Spain begin their EURO defence against Italy in Gdansk eight days later and also meet the Republic of Ireland and Croatia in the northern Polish city in Group A.
