Norway held by Tunisia

Tunisia 1-1 Norway Norway and Tunisia played out a goalless draw on Wednesday in Tunis.

Tunisia 1-1 Norway
Rangers FC striker Tore André Flo limped out of the goalless draw with 2002 FIFA World Cup qualifiers Tunisia tonight after suffering a thigh injury.

Injury worry
Flo collided with Tunisian goalkeeper El Ouaer midway through the first half and coach Nils Johan Semb decided to take him off. Up to that point the Rangers striker had looked lively as the sole striker, although he missed a good chance after only seven minutes and then hit the post just before he was forced off.

Norway create more chances
Tunisia, who last week parted company with coach Henri Michel, had most of the possession, but it was the visitors who created the chances before the interval.

Close calls
Norway were twice denied by the woodwork as TSV 1860 München midfield player Vidar Riseth saw his shot come back off the post after Flo's earlier effort.

'Short of luck'
Norway continued to keep it tight at the back in the second half and in-form striker Sigurd Rushfeldt went close to breaking the deadlock. "We should have killed this game off before the break, but we were just a little bit short of luck and skill," said Norway assistant coach Harald Aabrekk after the match.
