Five former European champions line up alongside a newcomer to the top table, in the shape of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in UEFA EURO 2016 qualifying draw Pot 1.

Winners of the last two competitions, Spain will be looking to make it three in a row come 2016, but they are just one of many top seeds with an impressive pedigree. Like the holders, Germany have three titles to their name and will be hoping to end 20 years without the trophy in France – their last triumph coming at EURO '96. Beaten finalists last time out, Italy have to go back to 1968 for their only success, while the Netherlands and Greece are the other countries in the pot to have lifted the Henri Delaunay Cup.
Bosnia and Herzegovina's recent qualifying campaigns, which ended at the play-off stage ahead of UEFA EURO 2012 but then saw them reach the 2014 FIFA World Cup, ensure they are in the top pot for the first time. Portugal, Russia and England make up the rest of Pot 1.
