UEFA has announced that official corporate hospitality sales, handled directly by the in-house hospitality sales team, for UEFA EURO 2016 will commence on 12 June.

"We decided to kick off our sales two years before the start of the final tournament," said EURO 2016 SAS CEO Martin Kallen. "Thanks to the new generation of stadiums presently being delivered across the country, UEFA will be able to deliver an unprecedented hospitality program in terms of scale and quality.

"We have decided to start this year in order to allow clients enough time to gather the necessary information before initiating their decision-making processes. Several companies have already expressed that they are ready to sign and will confirm their seats as soon as we go on sale."

Hospitality sales will be managed in-house by the revenue operations unit. A sales team is already in place at the EURO 2016 SAS offices near the Place du Trocadéro in Paris. Further details on the packages, which seek to combine football with high-end cuisine, will follow over the next few weeks.

Since 2010, the revenue operations unit of UEFA Events SA has developed a hospitality sales capability to market a unique portfolio of Europe's best football events. This includes the UEFA European Championship, as well as the final of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, and the UEFA Super Cup.

Commercial hospitality rights will be awarded soon, with Kallen confirming that "more than 80 agencies around the world have put themselves forward".

Ticket sales will start in spring 2015 on UEFA.com.
