Fans will be queueing up at the Stade Geoffroy Guichard in Saint-Etienne on Saturday to claim a free square of the UEFA EURO 2016 stadium's turf before it is relaid for the finals.

On Saturday, 4,000 fans will have the chance to walk away with their own personal memento of the stadium, with local authorities inviting trophy-hunters to pop along between 09.00CET and 18.00CET to stake their claim.*

Saint-Etienne is one of the ten host cities for the 2016 UEFA European Championship, with the Stade Geoffroy Guichard set to stage three group phase matches – on 14, 17, and 19 June 2016 – as well as a round of 16 encounter on the 25th, which would feature France if Les Bleus were to finish second in their group.
