It is made of solid silver, measures 60cm tall and weighs 8kg, and millions of car lovers and football fans throughout Europe dream about it. The Henri Delaunay Cup was without doubt one of the star attractions at the Kia stand at the Paris Motor Show 2014 on 4 and 5 October.

UEFA EURO 2016 partners Kia gave its visitors the exclusive chance to come and see the prestigious trophy, which will be presented to the winners of the biggest national-team competition in European football at the conclusion of the final tournament in France, which will be staged from 10 June to 10 July 2016.

As a UEFA partner, the brand was given the signal honour of exhibiting, for two special days, one of the holy grails of European football. With pride of place in the middle of the stand, the trophy was on display for all to see, with visitors able to enjoy a special moment by posing for photos alongside the illustrious prize.

Every legend has his trophy

Created for the very first European championship in 1960, the Henri Delaunay Cup is named after UEFA's first General Secretary. This trophy will be presented for the third time after the final of UEFA EURO 2016 on 10 July, which will take place at the Stade de France. It will be the 15th time a trophy bearing this name has gone to the winners of the competition.
