Czech call for Teplice star

Czech Republic coach Karel Brückner has recalled Michal Kolomazník for the friendly with Sweden.

Kolomazník comeback
The call-up is just reward for the 26-year-old's excellent form this season which has seen him score five goals in Teplice's rise to fourth place in the Czech 1. liga. The twice-capped Kolomazník is included for the first time under Brückner for the match at his home Na Stínadlech stadium on 20 November.

Smicer returns
Other returnees are the Hamburger SV defender Milan Fukal and SK Slavia Praha striker Tomás Dosek, both back after a six-month absence, Meanwhile Vladimír Šmicer of Liverpool FC has reclaimed his place after a toe injury.

Dortmund duo left out
However, Brückner has agreed to release Rosický and Koller given their busy club schedule with Dortmund in the 1. Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League. The other notable omission is defender Petr Johana, who has just recovered from a groin injury and leaves champions FC Slovan Liberec without a representative in the squad.

Brückner boost
The Czech Republic have won seven out of nine games under Brückner, who took charge in January. They are second in their EURO 2004™ qualifying section following Group 3 wins against Moldova and Belarus.
