Oper eyes Iceland

In-form Andres Oper is in Arno Pijpers' 18-man Estonia squad to face Iceland on 20 November.

Flora experience
Eleven of Pijpers' squad is made up of players from Estonian champions FC Flora, who are also coached by Pijpers. The only domestic league player who is not at Flora is FC Levadia Maardu captain Sergei Hohlov-Simson - although he is a former Flora player as are all six of the foreign-based contingent in the squad.

In-form Oper
One of this sextet is in-form Andres Oper, who scored a hat-trick at the weekend for Aalborg BK in the Danish Spuerliga. "It was my first Danish hat-trick and obviously it is a dream for every striker," Oper said. "I hope to produce similar form for Estonia against Iceland."

Third time lucky?
Estonia and Iceland have met twice before, with the latter winning on both occasions. Estonia are currently third in UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifying Group Eight with one point from two games. Their next qualifier is against Bulgaria on 2 April 2003.
