Romania coach Anghel Iordanescu has finalised his 21-man squad to face Croatia in a friendly on Wednesday by adding eight Romanian-based players to his initial 13-man selection of foreign-based players.
Schumacher earns call
FC Rapid Bucuresti captain and midfield player Constantin Schumacher has earned selection for the first time at the age of 26 while Lucian Sanmartean, Ovidiu Petre and Flavius Stoican were called in after injuries prevented Paul Cordea and Iulian Filipescu taking their places in the squad.
