Morale boost
The 24-year-old has broken into the national team under new coach Leo Beenhakker, making his debut in the August friendly in Denmark before appearing in Poland's Group A qualifiers against Serbia, Kazakhstan and Portugal - the last-mentioned a 2-1 home victory which has revived Polish hopes. Golanski will also be missed by Korona Kielce, the Polish Ekstraklasa's second-placed club, who have three games remaining before the winter break.
