Vlatko Markovic has been re-elected as president of the Croatian Football Federation after receiving an overwhelming majority of votes from the board.
Driving force
Markovic, a driving force behind Croatia's unsuccesful bid to co-host EURO 2008™ with Bosnia-Herzegovina, said: "I thank everybody for this suport but I assure you these votes are not for me but for the progress of Croatian football. In the last four years we have begun a new age of our football."
Four more years
Markovic first assumed the role four years ago and will now remain as president for a further four years after picking up 48 of the 53 votes cast on Sunday.
