Injured stars
Klaus Toppmöller has been forced to do without AC Milan defender Kaladze and FC Schalke 04's Kobiashvili with both nursing injury, but Blackburn Rovers FC defender Zurab Khizanishvili is available again after serving a suspension. Georgia lie sixth in Group B with seven points after nine matches. They travel to face Italy on 13 October before playing host to Scotland four days later.
