euro2004.com set for launch

UEFA will launch euro2004.com, the official website for the UEFA European Football Championship, on Saturday.

Online ticketing
Although more than 12 months still remain until the first match is played, euro2004.com will provide background information to Portugal using a city and stadium guide as well as giving details of accommodation opportunities. With an online ticketing service to be added in the coming weeks, euro2004.com will be the place to be as the finals draw ever closer.

International flavour
Conscious of the international flavour of the event, the site will feature eight languages, namely English, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish and Japanese.

Exclusive offers
In addition, the website will include exclusive offers from partners including the established predictor game, fantasy football and newsletter, while other activities are planned for the coming weeks and months including multimedia content and behind-the-scenes features.

Up-to-date information
Ensuring reliable communication channels 24 hours a day, euro2004.com will also feature a new media services section devoted to providing up-to-date information regarding accreditation provisions, media arrangements, downloadable files and media releases from Euro 2004, S.A. and UEFA.

Further updates
Further updates to euro2004.com will follow in November 2003 for the final tournament draw and then in March 2004 as the preparations for the 16 qualified teams begins to take shape.

Exclusive interviews
And as the UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifying competition intensifies, euro2004.com will be the place to be for live match coverage, match previews, reports and analysis, exclusive player and coach interviews and the latest news from all 50 competing teams.
