Gellei gears up for Latvia

'Playing to win'
Gellei has kept faith with the players involved in last week's 2-1 friendly defeat in Slovenia. His team are in second place in qualifying Group 4, behind Sweden on goal difference and one point above the Latvians. "We will play for a win and keep in mind the ambitions we said we had at the start of the campaign," the coach said. Hungary, who have played a game more than both Sweden and Latvia, will then end their campaign with a home match against Poland on 11 October.
