UEFA is pleased to announce the signing of an official partnership with La Poste, national postal operator of France, as the official service provider for postal, parcel and express delivery services for UEFA EURO 2016.

La Poste will have exclusive responsibility for delivering 2.5 million tickets worldwide in May 2016 via its postmen and women in France, the DPD group express delivery network in Europe and the Chronopost express delivery network for the rest of the world. In doing so, La Poste promises UEFA and all UEFA EURO 2016 ticket holders completely carbon neutral ticket transport and delivery, in accordance with the commitments it made in March 2012 to offset all the carbon emissions of its postal, parcel, express delivery and online services.

For UEFA EURO 2016, La Poste will also issue a series of special-issue stamps. The first, featuring the ten host cities, will be released on 12 December 2015.

After the torch relay for the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville and the 1998 FIFA World Cup, La Poste will be doing its bit to make UEFA EURO 2016 a huge success throughout the country, thanks to its network of post offices, its 85,000 postmen and women and its online services. UEFA EURO 2016 products will also be on sale through La Poste, in particular in main post offices.

A La Poste and UEFA EURO 2016-branded website will be launched on 12 December 2015, the date of the UEFA EURO 2016 finals draw. It will provide ticket purchasers in France and abroad with information about delivery times and procedures.

"La Poste and its employees are very attached to the values of sport and have always helped to make the major sports events that have taken place in France a wonderful occasion," said Philippe Wahl, La Poste's president and chief executive officer. "La Poste is proud to have been chosen by UEFA as the official operator for postal, parcel and express delivery services for UEFA EURO 2016 and will mobilise its entire logistics network and the full know-how of its employees."

Jacques Lambert, president of UEFA EURO 2016 SAS, said: "We are delighted to welcome La Poste on board as a UEFA EURO 2016 national sponsor. With its network of 17,000 sales outlets, La Poste will engage with all fans nationwide. It will also play a logistical role by delivering the 2.5 million match tickets to spectators worldwide."

To illustrate their partnership, La Poste and UEFA have created a composite logo.
