Sliskovic brings eleven home

Blaz Sliskovic has picked eleven foreign-based players for Bosnia-Herzegovina's forthcoming games.

Hibic called up
Croatian-based duo Almir Turkovic of HNK Hajduk Split and Edin Mujcin of NK Dinamo Zagreb are included along with Branimir Baljic, who plays in Serbia and Montenegro for FK Partizan. Mirsad Hibic has also been named, although he will miss the Luxembourg game through suspension.

'We expect to win'
Bosnia-Herzegovina are due to entertain Group 2 rivals Luxembourg on 29 March before playing Denmark in Copenhagen four days later. Sliskovic believes a positive result against Luxembourg could inspire an upset from his team at the Parken stadium. "We expect to win against Luxembourg and I think we have the players to do it," he said. "With all three points under our belts we would try to surprise Denmark."

Local talent
The coach expects to name the other 14 members of a 25-man squad, to be chosen from domestic clubs, after this weekend's Premier League fixtures. Bosnia-Herzegovina are second from bottom of Group 2 having lost their opening games against Norway and Romania without scoring a goal.
