Völler brings Bremen duo back

Germany coach Rudi Völler has called up SV Werder Bremen duo Tim Borowski and Fabian Ernst.

Germany coach Rudi Völler has made six changes to his squad for the upcoming friendly against Bosnia-Herzegovina and EURO 2004™ qualifier against the Faroe Islands.

Marco Rehmer and the injury-plagued Christian Wörns return while Hertha BSC Berlin's Arne Friedrich, VfL Bochum's Paul Freier and SV Werder Bremen duo Tim Borowski and Fabian Ernst return to the fold and are given another chance to shine after making their debuts in a 2-2 friendy draw against Bulgaria in August.

Böhme and Baumann out 
Jörg Böhme and Frank Baumann are both left out of the squad as they struggle to return to fitness after injuries. Germany began therir EURO 2004™ qualifying campaign last month with a 2-0 win against Lithuania.
