Greece coach Otto Rehhagel has called AS Roma defender Traianos Dellas into his squad to face Romania in a friendly next week.
English spell
Dellas signed for Roma before the 2001/02 season but has yet to figure in a competitive match for them. He also has played for AC Perugia and in England with Sheffield United FC. Before heading to Italy, he enjoyed two successful seasons with AEK Athens FC.
Dabizas missing
The 26-year-old is one of four foreign-based players called up by Rehhagel, the German-born coach of Greece. Newcastle United FC defender Nikos Dabizas is missing though due to his domestic commitments with the English FA Premiership club.
EURO 2004™ campaign
