Czech Republic 4-1 Slovakia

Poborsky warning
The tone of this friendly was set early on when Karel Poborský rounded three defenders only to see a fine strike deflected wide by Slovakian defender Kamil Contofalský.

Keeper gaffe
It was entirely against the run of play when Slovakia's Szilárd Németh opened the scoring. He headed into the net from close range after goalkeeper Martin Vaniak fumbled a Vladimir Janocko cross on 15 minutes.

Lucky replacement
But the response came quick and owed much to the good work of Zdenek Grygera, whose fine run and perfect cross culminated in Koller's equalising header. Martin Vaniak then rectified his previous mistake when he stopped a dangerous Miroslav Karhan shot just before the interval.

Koller's cracker
After the break, the Czechs gathered pace and the Slovakians simply failed to live with the tempo, substitute Milan Baroš skipping past the visiting defence to play in Koller for his 20th international goal on 63 minutes. Rosicky added his first contribution seven minutes later, before bagging a second with an unstoppable free-kick late on.
