Switzerland coach Jakob Kuhn is allowing some of his young players to focus on Under-21 duties as the senior side play a four-nation friendly tournament.

U21 priority
Switzerland will host Austria, Venezuela and Costa Rica in the competition between 2 and 6 September, but Johan Djourou, Tranquillo Barnetta, Blerim Dzemaili, Xavier Margairaz and Johan Vonlanthen will not take part as they will be needed for the UEFA European U21 Championship qualifiers against Moldova, on 1 September, and England five days later. Injuries have sidelined Philippe Senderos and Valon Behrami for the friendly tournament but Benjamin Huggel returns to Kuhn's 20-man squad.
