No surprises as Rüütli names Estonia squad

Estonia coach Tarmo Rüütli stuck with the usual suspects when naming his 22-man squad for the UEFA EURO 2012 Group C qualifiers against Serbia and Slovenia.

Rüütli has made few changes from the squad beaten at home by Italy last month, although there is a recall for FK Bodø/Glimt goalkeeper Pavel Londak, who replaces Artur Kotenko of AEP Paphos FC. Defender Igor Morozov and forward Vjatšeslav Zahovaiko are also missing but the biggest absentee remains Joel Lindpere. The midfielder is sticking by his decision to put his international career on hold while he establishes himself at New York Red Bulls during his first season in the MLS.

Estonia, who opened their campaign in August with a late 2-1 comeback victory over the Faroe Islands, face Serbia for the first ever time in Belgrade on Friday night before returning to Tallinn to take on Slovenia next Tuesday.
