Bulgaria coach Plamen Markov has named a 19-man squad for the final UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifier against Croatia in Zagreb on 11 October.
Zdravkov and Petrov included
Istanbulspor AS goalkeeper Zdravko Zdravkov is back in the squad after recovering from a jaw injury, while VfL Wolfsburg left winger Martin Petrov, who suffered a broken toe in his left foot at the weekend, is also called up but will not play in the game. Petrov was having surgery today in Berlin.
Bulgaria have already qualified as the winners of Group 8 but the match is vital for Croatia. They are level with Belgium on 13 points and are fighting for second place.
