Sweden have called up Andreas Johansson and Niklas Skoog to replace injured midfield player Anders Svensson and unwell striker Mattias Jonson for next Wednesday's trip to Albania.
Knee injury
Svensson has been ruled out with a knee injury while Jonson has a cold, the Swedish Football Association (SFF) said today. Both replacements are from the Allsvenskan, where Johansson plays for champions Djurgårdens IF and Skoog plays for Malmö FF.

Hertha BSC Berlin defender Marko Rehmer has pulled out of Germany's squad for the friendly against fellow EURO 2004™ qualifiers Croatia on Wednesday in Split because of a bout of flu.

Finally England, who face EURO 2004™ hosts Portugal in a friendly in the Algarve next week, have announced that Swede Roland Andersson, who scouted for his native country at the last FIFA World Cup, has joined coach Sven-Göran Eriksson's backroom staff for this summer in Portugal.

"I am delighted to have Roland with us for such a big tournament," Eriksson said. "We will be using both him and [Under-21 coach] David Platt as scouts out in Portugal."
