Having made a promising start in UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying, Georgia will look to maintain their push for one of the top spots in Group F as they meet leaders Croatia for the first time.

Having made a promising start in UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying, Georgia will look to maintain their push for one of the top spots in Group F as they play section leaders Croatia for the first time.

Match background
• This will be the first contest between the sides at senior international level. Teams representing the two nations have also never met in UEFA club competition.

• Both Georgia and Croatia are unbeaten in Group F, though with one win and three draws to date, Temuri Ketsbaia's Georgia are four points adrift of Slaven Bilić's side.

• Bilić and Ketsbaia have met before, featuring for Everton FC and Newcastle United FC respectively in a 0-0 Premier League draw on 28 February 1998.
