A panel of experts have selected 18 winners of a creativity contest on the theme of 'Supporting our team – creating history together'.

Professor Jerzy Bralczyk, a linguist, judged the written works which were submitted alongside drawings and photographs, and expressed his delight at football's positive influence. "The pieces I chose demonstrated a meeting of generations," he said. "Football and European championships integrate and inspire people, which is very important."

The 18 winners have all joined Bralczyk as Friends of UEFA EURO 2012, and three were also awarded distinction in each category. The trio will appear on breakfast television programme Kawa czy Herbata (Coffee or Tea) on 22 March.
