Jazz violinist Krzesimir Dębski and acclaimed animator Tomasz Bagiński have been unveiled as the latest Polish Friends of UEFA EURO 2012.

The pair were presented by Polish tournament director Adam Olkowicz on breakfast television show Kawa czy Herbata? (Tea or Coffee?) this morning.

Dębski, a composer, conductor and jazz violinist whose grandmother was Ukrainian, spoke of his pride in watching the UEFA EURO 2012 co-hosts "bring us even closer together." Bagiński is a self-taught illustrator who won an Oscar nomination for his 2002 short film debut Katedra (The Cathedral).

Up to 100 people in Poland will be officially named as Friends of UEFA EURO 2012 – half of them public figures selected by the LOC, with the remaining spots open to the general public via competitions for people of all ages. Tournament co-hosts Ukraine will also nominate 100 Friends of EURO.
