UEFA has released the latest interim national team coefficients after the conclusion of June's UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying fixtures.

These coefficients are specific to UEFA EURO 2012 and consider only senior national team results over the last two competitions and the current tournament. That means the coefficient is determined by the UEFA EURO 2008 qualifying competition and final tournament, the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying competition and final tournament, and the qualifying competition for UEFA EURO 2012.

The coefficients were first used at the start of UEFA EURO 2012 qualification when the draw was made on 7 February 2010. The next time they will be needed is for the qualifying play-off draw on 13 October, which will decide the four seeded teams to be drawn against the four non-seeded teams, and then again for the final draw on 2 December to define the pot allocation of the 14 qualified teams, who will then be drawn into four groups.

Annex 1 of the Regulations of the UEFA European Football Championship, 2010-12 competition, explains in detail how the coefficients are calculated.
