Azerbaijan have chosen a 25-man squad to take on Bulgaria as they begin their preparations for the EURO 2004™ qualifiers later this year.

Tough campaign
The players will spend two weeks at a training camp in the Bulgarian coastal resort of Albena, culminating in a friendly match against Bulgaria on 21 February. The Azerbaijani team face a tough qualifying campaign for the UEFA European Championship finals in Portugal in 2004. They have been drawn in Group 9, which also contains Italy, Yugoslavia, Finland and Wales.
