Advocaat gives Kombarov first Russia call-up

FC Spartak Moskva's Dmitri Kombarov has been included in a Russia senior squad for the first time as Dick Advocaat names a 21-man party for this month's friendly with Denmark.

Coach Dick Advocaat has given FC Spartak Moskva midfielder Dmitri Kombarov his first Russia call-up for the friendly against Denmark on 29 February.

FC Dinamo Moskva striker Aleksandr Kokorin is retained having made his international bow last November while FC Anzhi Makhachkala goalkeeper Vladimir Gabulov returns to the selection having missed out last time.

The squad will convene on 27 February before facing Denmark in Copenhagen two days later. Advocaat's men take on the Czech Republic, co-hosts Poland and Greece in Group A at UEFA EURO 2012 this summer.
